Lord of the forest
Oh sweet love capture me
I would that I’d never free
Imprison me in heavens light
Leave me not alone
A tear drop upon the green earth
The trees sing songs of her loneliness
Let her pray this night, that she may survive
Let the forest hear her cries
The rain is soft and the wind is gentle
A wolf howls to the cloudy sky, she heard a voice whisper
The spirit toke her hand and through all time they danced
His eyes were bluer then the ocean, hair black as a raven
and his name was lost forever only spoken by the breezes
Oh sweet love you captured me
I would that I’d never free
Imprisoned my heart in heavens light
Left me not alone to cry
Tell the snow melted into water and the flowers were in bloom
Tell the summer sun had faded and amber lives blanked the ground
All the years he loved her kissing her to sleep
Her legend spared for miles a demon they would call
and some would say a witch caught under a spell,
so go they did to find her, to burn away the filth.
Shacked her in irons, stoned her half to death but all she did was smile,
As she gazed up to the sky, the flames did smite her,
her screams filled the night, so come she did to join him in the haunted trees.
Oh sweet love had taken me,
From his embrace I’d never free
Imprisoned in the forest light
And tougher in him arm’s forever.
So in blood was written on the earth,
A warning of the demons cruse
For on the day she burned alive,
his wrath was spread upon the tribe

"Big sky like that, it did wonders for the soul. Put everything into perspective. How serious could your problems ever be when you were this small in the overall scheme of things?"

What upsets me is not that you lied, but that from now on I can no longer believe you...
